Waggonway Group Members are invited to attend the 1722 Waggonway Heritage Group Annual General Meeting.
Formal proceedings will start at 7.30pm at the Waggonway Museum, West Harbour Rd, Cockenzie, EH32 0HX We are very fortunate to be joined for the evening by Dr Arran Johnston of the Battle of Prestonpans (1745) Heritage Trust & Scottish Battlefields Trust, who will be speaking about the Battle of Prestonpans but with a particular focus on events in Cockenzie. New members are welcome to join in advance of the meeting - just come along at 7pm to sign up. Annual membership is £12. Refreshments will be provided. All members will receive formal notification of this meeting by email or letter.
