Join us as Tim Rayner tells the story of East Lothian's Sopwith Strutter!

24 years ago, 20 volunteers set out to build a Sopwith aircraft faithful to the original 1915 drawings and fly it at their local air show. It’s hand built like the original. This project has attracted worldwide coverage and features on the BBC and is the subject of two separate films being made about the aircraft, Sopwith Strutter, it is important in aviation circles as it is the only one flying in the world. Tim was involved from the start and remains connected to the project and is currently the test pilot for the aircraft.

Tim's aviation themed presentations have been delivered to many flying clubs across Scotland and the Royal Aeronautical Society – Scottish branch.
