It's that time of year again!
The 2026 celebration of history and archaeology organised by East Lothian Council Archaeology Service, along with local groups and organisations is nearly upon us!

This year, the 1722 Waggonway Project is running 3 excellent events which will showcase various aspects of our project's field of interest.

1-2 September

3-4 September
Waggonway Open Days - Waggonway Open Days - John Gray Centre
we will also be building a set of wooden waggonway points (and hopefully testing them out!

5-6 September
Waggonway Beer Festival - Waggonway Beer Festival - John Gray Centre
all that hard work deserves a nice pint of ale!
