This year we are digging in the yard where the waggonway dropped off coal to be stored before it was exported and used in the salt pans.
🔵 The dig is happening Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th September.
🔵 Museum and Dig Site open 10am - 3pm.
🔵 Drop-in activities (spoil sieving and finds cleaning) available Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.
🔵 Brick-making workshop Friday & Sunday.
🔵 We will be welcoming visitors to the site throughout - members of our excavation team will give regular site tours as required.
